                            JOINT RESOLUTION


 
 Declaring a state of war between the United States and the Government 
                 of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.

    Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United 
States of America in Congress assembled, That pursuant to section 5(b) 
of the War Powers Resolution (50 U.S.C. 1544(b)), and article 1, 
section 8 of the United States Constitution, a state of war is declared 
to exist between the United States and the Government of the Federal 
Republic of Yugoslavia.
