                                 AN ACT


 
To designate the facility of the United States Postal Service at 13234 
South Baltimore Avenue in Chicago, Illinois, as the ``John J. Buchanan 
                        Post Office Building''.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. DESIGNATION.

    The facility of the United States Postal Service located at 13234 
South Baltimore Avenue in Chicago, Illinois, is hereby designated as 
the ``John J. Buchanan Post Office Building''.

SEC. 2. REFERENCES.

    Any reference in a law, regulation, map, document, paper, or other 
record of the United States to the facility referred to in section 1 
shall be considered to be a reference to the ``John J. Buchanan Post 
Office Building''.

            Passed the House of Representatives May 24, 1999.
