                      October 13 (legislative day, September 22), 2000.
    Resolved, That the bill from the House of Representatives (H.R. 
4868) entitled ``An Act to amend the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the 
United States to modify temporarily certain rates of duty, to make 
other technical amendments to the trade laws, and for other 
purposes.'', do pass with the following

            Strike out all after the enacting clause and insert:

    This Act may be cited as the ``Tariff Suspension and Trade Act of 
2000''.
