To ensure the availability of funds for ergonomic protection standards.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS FOR ERGONOMIC PROTECTION STANDARDS.

    Notwithstanding any other provision of law, up to $50,000,000 of 
the amounts otherwise appropriated to the Occupational Safety and 
Health Administration for fiscal year 2001 shall be available for the 
promulgation, issuance, implementation, administration, and enforcement 
of proposed, temporary, and final standards on ergonomic protection.
