Mr. DeLay submitted the following resolution; which was considered and

                               RESOLUTION


 
           Electing officers of the House of Representatives.

    Resolved, That Jeffrey J. Trandahl of the State of South Dakota, 
be, and is hereby, chosen Clerk of the House of Representatives.
    Resolved, That Wilson S. Livingood of the Commonwealth of Virginia, 
be, and is hereby, chosen Sergeant at Arms of the House of 
Representatives.
    Resolved, That James M. Eagen, III, of the Commonwealth of 
Pennsylvania, be, and is hereby, chosen Chief Administrative Officer of 
the House of Representatives.
    Resolved, That Father Daniel P. Coughlin of the State of Illinois, 
be, and is hereby, chosen Chaplain of the House of Representatives.
