                 In the House of Representatives, U.S.,

                                                           May 8, 2001.
    Resolved, That the requirement of clause 6(a) of rule XIII for a two-thirds 
vote to consider reports from the Committee on Rules on the same day they are 
presented to the House is waived with respect to resolutions reported on the 
legislative day of May 8, 2001, providing for consideration or disposition of 
any conference report to accompany the concurrent resolution (H. Con. Res. 83) 
establishing the congressional budget for the United States Government for 
fiscal year 2002, revising the congressional budget for the United States 
Government for fiscal year 2001, and setting forth appropriate budgetary levels 
for each of fiscal years 2003 through 2011.
