resolution; which was referred to the House Calendar and ordered to be

RESOLUTION
Providing for the consideration of the bill (H.R. 1218) to amend title
18, United States Code, to prohibit taking minors across State lines in
circumvention of laws requiring the involvement of parents in abortion
decisions.
Resolved, That upon the adoption of this resolution it shall be in
order without intervention of any point of order to consider in the
House the bill (H.R. 1218) to amend title 18, United States Code, to
prohibit taking minors across State lines in circumvention of laws
requiring the involvement of parents in abortion decisions. The bill
shall be considered as read for amendment. The previous question shall
be considered as ordered on the bill to final passage without
intervening motion except: (1) two hours of debate equally divided and
controlled by the chairman and ranking minority member of the Committee
on the Judiciary; and (2) one motion to recommit.
