 Salmon) submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the

                               RESOLUTION


 
Amending the Rules of the House of Representatives to prohibit smoking 
 in rooms and corridors leading to the House floor and in the Rayburn 
                                 room.

    Resolved, That the last sentence of clause 7 of rule XIV of the 
Rules of the House of Representatives is amended by inserting before 
the period at the end the following: ``, nor shall any person be 
allowed to smoke in any room or corridor leading thereto or in the 
Rayburn room at any time''.
