A BILL
To suspend temporarily the duty on Liquid Crystal Device panel
assemblies for use in Liquid Crystal Device projection type
televisions.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. LIQUID CRYSTAL DEVICE PANEL ASSEMBLIES.
(a) In General.--Subchapter II of chapter 99 of the Harmonized
Tariff Schedule of the United States is amended by inserting in
numerical sequence the following new heading:

(b) Effective Date.--The amendment made by this section applies
