  To expand the boundary of the George Washington Birthplace National 
                   Monument, and for other purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. GEORGE WASHINGTON BIRTHPLACE NATIONAL MONUMENT BOUNDARIES 
              ADJUSTED.

    (a) Short Title.--This Act may be cited as the ``George Washington 
Birthplace National Monument Boundary Adjustment Act of 2000''.
    (b) Boundary of George Washington Birthplace National Monument.--
The boundary of the George Washington Birthplace National Monument 
(hereinafter referred to as the ``monument'') is modified to include 
the area comprising approximately 115 acres, as generally depicted on 
the map entitled ``George Washington Birthplace National Monument 
Boundary Map Westmoreland County Virginia'', numbered 332/80,011B, and 
dated July 2000. The map shall be on file and available for inspection 
in the appropriate offices of the National Park Service, Department of 
the Interior.
    (c) Acquisition of Lands.--The Secretary of the Interior may 
acquire land or interests in land described in subsection (b) by 
donation, purchase from willing sellers with donated or appropriated 
funds, or exchange.
    (d) Administration of Lands.--Lands added to the monument pursuant 
to subsection (b) shall be administered by the Secretary of the 
Interior as part of the monument in accordance with the laws and 
regulations applicable hereto.
