Mr. Lott (for himself and Mr. Dodd) submitted the following resolution;

                               RESOLUTION


 
   Authorizing regulations relating to the use of official equipment.

    Resolved, That (a) the Committee on Rules and Administration of the 
Senate may issue regulations to authorize a Senator or officer or 
employee of the Senate to use official equipment for purposes 
incidental to the conduct of their official duties.
    (b) Any use under subsection (a) shall be subject to such terms and 
conditions as set forth in the regulations.
