PEACE CORPS

22 CFR Ch. III

Regulatory Agenda

AGENCY: Peace Corps of the United States.

ACTION: Publication of semiannual agenda.

_______________________________________________________________________

SUMMARY: This agenda announces the regulations the Peace Corps will
have under development during the 12-month period from April 1, 1994,
through March 31, 1995. The purpose for publishing this agenda is to
give notice of any regulatory activity by the Agency in order to allow
the public an opportunity to participate in the rulemaking process.

FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT: The public is encouraged to contact
the agency official listed for the particular agenda item. For other
information concerning Peace Corps' regulations or this semiannual
agenda, contact Brian J. Sexton, General Counsel, Peace Corps, 1990 K
Street NW., Washington, DC 20526, (202) 606-3114.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: In accordance with Executive Order 12866
entitled ``Regulatory Planning and Review'' and the Regulatory
Flexibility Act (5 U.S.C. 601-612), executive agencies are required to
publish in the Federal Register semiannual regulatory agendas in April
and October of each year. The regulations being considered by the Peace
Corps are not ``significant'' rules within the meaning of Executive
Order 12866, and no regulatory impact analysis is required. In
addition, the Peace Corps has determined, under the Regulatory
Flexibility Act, that the regulations under consideration will not have
a significant economic impact on a substantial number of small
entities. Accordingly, no Regulatory Flexibility Analysis is required.
The Agency has also determined that the regulations will not impose
compliance costs or reporting burdens on the public.

Dated: April 18, 1994.

Kirby Mullen,

Acting General Counsel.
